What it takes for article marketing to succeed?
2 May
Article marketing sounds easy. Just write articles and submit it with a bio line on it linking to your website. Submit it to Ezine Articles. Done. Really? If it is really that easy, then why didn’t my website reached in the first page of Google even though I submitted 25 articles with a link to my website. Why didn’t my website got any visitors from those articles?
Yes, I tried article marketing really hard and it didn’t work. I had seen success story everywhere and I’d submitted a lot of articles but why didn’t it work for me? I knew there’s something I was missing. I then studied quite a lot and then tried again. Finally it worked, I didn’t exactly get the first place in Google but I’m driving quite a good amount of traffic now. Here’s few lesson I learned in the process.
1. Use attention grabbing headlines
Like “3 ways to earn money using Hotfile” or ” Why article marketing sucks?” etc. There are so much content in Internet now, people don’t really look at an article with average headline. Your headline is the sole component that brings people to your article. So pay attention to your headline as much as you do to the article body.
2. Write in Bullet Points
Make the article easy to read. Most of the people do not read long paragraphs. They need facts, ezinearticles is certainly not the place where someone would go to read a long piece of literature. Don’t worry about the length of the article, you should not have anything that is not needed and you should have everything that is needed.
3. Never write a complete article
Yes, never write a complete article. If you write everything in the article then why would people would need to go to your website? They already get what they got. They just close the tab and be happy. You need to write good article but tempt them to come to your website. This is the part where the traffic from article actually belongs.
4. Do not write your introduction on bio line
In addition to number 3, you should ask visitor to go to your website rather than to give your introduction on the article. Rather than writing ” James is search engine optimizer and your can find more info on search engine optimization on his website”, you can write “go to james website to learn how you can avoid above mistakes while doing search engine optimization” or something like that.
Try these 4 methods, these really work!
